CTBA was developed around its laboratories and its various teams of engineers, specialists and technicians whose know-how is based on the complex knowledge of wood as a material and its numerous applications. |
It employs 260 staff at two locations:
• Paris : the headquarter with the "Harvesting, sawmilling and Packaging " and "Furniture" Departments.
• Bordeaux : The "Timber in construction " Department.
Transversal teams work on technical activities:
• BNBA, the Standardisation Office for Wood and Furniture, is active at a national, European and worldwide level.
• The Quality Division in the field of product, staff and service certification
• The Scientific Division
• Information and Competitive Technology Intelligence.
