Collective actions for the timber in construction sector
The Timber in Construction Department manages a whole of collective actions
of which the objective is to support the timber in construction and related sectors.
Those actions deal with the following fields : Research, standardisation, information and technology watch.
In order to inform the professions about the results obtained through those different actions, and to
measure their expectations in terms of development within the framework of the main themes
quoted below, the Timber in construction Department runs one or two times a year
professional Commissions by main activity sector:
- frame timber
- durability and wood preservation
- panels
- panelling flooring
- joinery
- wood additives (glues and finishes)
In order to inform the majority, the Timber in Construction department disseminates
"news-in brief ", three issues a year by sector, using professional structures. Those documents
recount the significant headway in terms of standardisation, studies and researches' results
in progress, transferable technologies, the main passed events or events to come linked to
the Timber in Construction department and which involve professionals.
They represent a formal and regular link between CTBA and the professional sectors,
bringing a recent, targeted and useful to companies
