Construction Directive Products and CE marking

CTBA, as a technical centre of reference, is the main organisation to work in partnership with the manufacturers of the of the timber - - panels - framing.- joinery in all the procedures linked to the application of the Construction Directive Product. : Application for ETA (European Technical Approvals), attestation of conformity, CE marking and commercialisation.

CTBA is officially notified for the following products :

• Wood based panels,
• Products which need a SBI test of reaction to fire
• For the ETA, on the precast stairs in kit form, beams and composite posts, and the precast constructions in timber frame.

CTBA is competent whatever the attestation level asked may be :

• By its recognised testing laboratories : level of attestation 3
• By its potential of inspection : level of attestation 2 et 2+
• By its activity of certification : level of attestation 1 et 1+
